Except where stated, all undergraduate courses are assessed on the basis of 100% total marks with proportions as follows: Course work is 30% and the Written Examination is 70%. All Undergraduate continuous assessment courses are totally by assignments of which a minimum of 8 is graded out of 100%. These marks are converted into Grade Points. |

The admission process starts with the payment of an application fee of Shs25,000 (approx. $15) by an applicant, upon which they are given application forms. Day or Evening Program? Students admitted to the Department of Mass Communication may join either the Day Program or the Evening Program. Classes in Day Program, more suitable for students straight out of high school, start at 7:00 A.M. and end at 5:00 P.M. Evening classes start at 5:00 P.M and end at 10:00 P.M. We start with the Day Program. |
